Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in school-based OT services; familiarity with OT in home health and teletherapy environments a plus
  • Experience within pediatric, K12, or adolescent populations preferred
  • Comfortable working a flexible, as-needed schedule
  • Excellent communication and adaptability for both onsite and virtual service delivery
  • Collaborative approach, thriving as part of multidisciplinary educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, promoting academic and functional success
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to support diverse learning and developmental needs
  • Document progress, communicate with educators and families, and adapt strategies as necessary
  • Offer guidance to COTAs (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants) to ensure continuity of care
  • Engage in teletherapy interventions as required
