Make a meaningful impact as an Occupational Therapist by supporting students across multiple school sites for a district-wide K-12 need in the Peterborough, NH area. This contract opportunity offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators while making a direct difference in students' lives. You'll work with a diverse caseload, helping students enhance their participation in school activities and promoting independence in the classroom.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy license for the state
- Experience in school-based OT services (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with staff, families, and students
- Familiarity with IEP documentation, evaluation, and implementation of therapeutic interventions
- Flexible and adaptable to work across multiple school locations and age groups
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across elementary, middle, and high school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Contribute to IEP meetings, providing input on goals, accommodations, and progress
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student and setting
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Split time as needed between sites throughout the district (details to be determined)
