Make an immediate impact supporting K-8 students as a contract Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school environment near Phoenix, AZ. If you have a passion for helping students with diverse abilities reach their fullest potential, this opportunity may be exactly what youre seeking!

You will serve two schools, working with students from kindergarten through 8th grade, many of whom have Autism, developmental disabilities, or Downs syndrome. Your expertise will guide evaluations and interventions in accordance with each childs learning goals. No supervision of COTA is required, allowing you to focus on hands-on therapy and collaboration with multidisciplinary staff.

What youll bring:

• Active Arizona Occupational Therapy license
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (required before start)
• School-based OT experience, especially with K-8 or special needs populations
• Strong communication and consultative skills; comfort collaborating with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Flexibility to attend meetings before or after the typical school day
• Ability to independently manage your schedule and documentation for two sites

What youll do:

• Conduct evaluations for school-age students
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans for children with Autism, DD, Downs syndrome, and other disabilities
• Collaborate daily with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Work a consistent weekday schedule (32.5 hours/week, 8am-3:00pm or 8:40am-3:40pm), with meeting availability as needed
