Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in Arizona
• Previous experience in school-based environments is highly valued
• Strong assessment, screening, and evaluation skills
• Confidence in interpreting results and conveying clinical information
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with IEP teams, parents, teachers, and staff
• Comfortable developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs and/or 504 plans
• Experience providing direct OT services to school-aged children
• Ability to guide and support activities of teachers and COTAs as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough screenings and assessments to identify students needs
• Accurately interpret data and share results with IEP teams and families
• Evaluate students abilities to help determine appropriate interventions
• Develop individualized educational and/or 504 plans in alignment with students goals
• Deliver direct OT services tailored to each student
• Collaborate closely with teachers and support their strategies for success
• Oversee and mentor COTAs if assigned, ensuring continuity of care
• Maintain accurate records and compliance with school policies and state regulations
