Empower young learners as a contract Occupational Therapist serving PreK8th grade students near Peoria, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated OT who thrives in a school-based setting and values meaningful connections with children and educators. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred; open to new graduates with strong pediatric fieldwork
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Adaptable approach to working with diverse learners and varying caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to PreK8th grade students, supporting their academic, behavioral, and functional goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEPs and assessment results
- Collaborate closely with teachers, other therapists, and families for comprehensive student support
- Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and IEP meetings; document progress in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Adapt therapy materials and strategies for each students unique needs within classroom or group settings
