Make an impact this summer by providing essential support to elementary students as an Occupational Therapist. Two contract opportunities are available, focusing on delivering high-quality therapy services during the summer session from June 29th to July 30th. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey
- Prior experience working in educational settings, especially with elementary-aged students
- Strong understanding of OT best practices for school environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service professionals
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group occupational therapy interventions for elementary students
- Assess students needs and develop goal-oriented treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school standards
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and at-home activities
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed
