Job Description

Make an impact this summer by providing essential support to elementary students as an Occupational Therapist. Two contract opportunities are available, focusing on delivering high-quality therapy services during the summer session from June 29th to July 30th. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey
  • Prior experience working in educational settings, especially with elementary-aged students
  • Strong understanding of OT best practices for school environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and related service professionals
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group occupational therapy interventions for elementary students
  • Assess students needs and develop goal-oriented treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with school standards
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate OT strategies into classroom routines
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and at-home activities
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed
