Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school environment
• Familiarity with IEP planning and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and parents
• Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and learning styles

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational and developmental goals
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify student strengths and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and special education staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations for student progress
• Offer consultative support and in-class strategies for staff to promote inclusive learning environments
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation according to school policies
