Job Description

A part-time, onsite Occupational Therapist position is available within a school setting in Palo Alto, CA, serving students across kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role offers an opportunity to work during the summer months, supporting school-based therapy services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to K-12 students
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting treatment plans accordingly
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school district and state regulations
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of school-based wellness initiatives

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably within K-12 settings
  • Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
