Key Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license (required)
• Experience or interest in working within school settings (K-12)
• Strong understanding of educational-based OT practices

• Ability to design and implement creative interventions tailored to diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students across grades K-12
• Assess, document, and monitor students progress in areas such as fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and functional performance
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to foster student success and inclusion
• Provide training and resources to staff and caregivers to reinforce interventions within the classroom and home
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with legal and district standards
