Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across two to three school sites near Oxnard, CA. If you're an Occupational Therapist (OT) or a Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), your expertise will help drive meaningful progress within a diverse K-12 caseload of approximately 65 students. You'll collaborate and communicate with a dedicated team and positively impact students educational journeys.

Qualifications and Preferred Background:

  • Current state licensure or credentials as OT or SLP-CCC
  • Experience with K-12 populations strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with school-based caseload or workload service delivery models
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong skills in conducting direct therapy, assessments, and developing treatment plans
  • Knowledge of IEP processes; training on the districts specific IEP system will be provided
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
  • Flexibility to serve multiple schools as an itinerant provider

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect therapeutic services as assigned
  • Manage a caseload of up to 65 students, documenting progress and outcomes
  • Participate in paid team meetings and provide/receive supervision as appropriate
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in alignment with district standards
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and district staff to support student success
  • Travel between assigned schools (paid travel provided)
