Job Description

A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in Oxnard, CA, serving the school setting on a contract basis. This role involves providing occupational therapy services to students, supporting their developmental and educational needs with evidence-based practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • California Occupational Therapist licensure required
  • Experience working in school-based OT settings preferred
  • Background in home health or healthcare occupational therapy is a plus
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills for pediatric populations

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide professional recommendations

Work Schedule & Caseload:

  • Full-time hours (specific days per week to be determined)
  • Caseload typically includes a diverse age group of school-aged children
  • Manage student caseload efficiently to meet therapy goals and compliance requirements
