Desired Skills and Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid state OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for teamwork and parent/staff collaboration
• Ability to adapt and implement therapeutic strategies tailored to K-12 students with diverse needs
• Competence in developing and tracking individualized treatment plans and progress reports

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess students functional abilities and needs within the educational setting
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Deliver direct and consultative intervention services to students, both individually and in groups
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to modify classroom activities and environments for greater student success
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing resourceful input for team planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory standards and timelines
