Job Description

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
  • Current OT licensure valid in Kansas
  • Experience working with pediatric populations or school-aged children
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Creative problem-solver with a passion for making a difference in childrens lives
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage a varied caseload

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services and support to students in one-on-one or group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to maximize classroom participation and student independence
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation as required
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the educational team
  • Offer guidance and training to staff on strategies, adaptive equipment, and accommodations
