Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational or pediatric setting
- Understanding of IEP process, special education services, and relevant state and federal regulations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of physical, developmental, or sensory challenges
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations for accommodations and modifications
- Educate and consult with teachers and staff to support the integration of therapeutic strategies in the classroom
- Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and progress achieved
