Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
Previous experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred
Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation standards
Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
Assess students motor, sensory, and functional skills to determine appropriate interventions
Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student goals
Document evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes according to school and legal guidelines
Contribute to IEP meetings and provide ongoing recommendations for accommodations or modifications
Foster an encouraging environment that promotes participation and success in academic tasks
Stay up to date with evidence-based practices and comply with all regulatory standards
