Job Description

Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the current academic year through May 2027. Collaborate with various elementary schools, including Camber, Bridges Academy, New Chelsea Elementary, Emerson Elementary, and Welborn Elementary to provide impactful therapy services. This position offers the flexibility to design your own schedule, with an average of 1-3 site visits per day, ensuring meaningful engagement with approximately 50-60 students on your caseload.

Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Kansas is required
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Adaptability and initiative to manage a dynamic, multi-site environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, planning, and direct therapy services to students across multiple school campuses
  • Engage in IEP development and participate in student support meetings as needed
  • Create individualized treatment goals and monitor progress
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to maximize student success
  • Maintain timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Travel between school sites as you develop your own daily schedule
