Make a difference in students' lives by supporting four high schools in a dynamic contract opportunity as an onsite Occupational Therapist. This role focuses on covering a maternity leave during the 2026-2027 school year, offering hands-on experience in a collaborative educational setting. The assignment runs from approximately September 2, 2026, to February 1, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist license (must be attached with resume for consideration)
- Experience providing OT services in school settings, preferably at the high school level
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable covering a maternity leave and adapting to a set assignment timeframe
- Familiarity with IEPs, documentation, and school-based therapy protocols
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to high school students in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
- Complete assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and track student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, educational teams, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for all sessions and student interactions
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student support planning
