Job Description

This contract position offers an immediate opportunity for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services across two school sitesone elementary and one middle schoolin a K-12 setting located in Orinda, CA. The role involves managing a caseload currently at 48 students, with potential growth to 55, delivering comprehensive speech-language support to meet diverse student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
  • Conduct assessments to monitor progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
  • Maintain thorough documentation and comply with educational and healthcare regulations
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

Qualifications:

  • California license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required
  • Experience working within school settings preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively while balancing student needs

Schedule and Duration:

  • Contract position from ASAP through possibly the end of February
  • Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week
  • Onsite work at both designated school locations
