Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) License required
• Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEPs and individual student interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse age groups
• Ability to adapt therapies and techniques to various learning styles and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging occupational therapy services to K-12 caseload, tailoring interventions for each student's unique developmental and educational goals
• Assess student abilities, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapies
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and documentation to support student goals
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistent support
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication
