A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students in a school setting located in Omaha, NE. This role offers the chance to apply therapeutic techniques that enhance student participation and academic success while working collaboratively with educators and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.
- Document progress and update treatment plans regularly in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Nebraska.
- Experience working within a school environment preferred.
