Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree (or higher) from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students functional abilities and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students in classroom, small group, and individual settings
  • Educate and support teachers and families with strategies and accommodations
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Stay current with best practices and participate in school-related activities or training as needed
