Job Description

A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support students in grades K-12 within a school setting in Lake City, Florida. This contract opportunity begins on August 5, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027. The role requires a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings who can deliver comprehensive therapy services tailored to the needs of children and adolescents.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida OT license required
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services in schools
  • Ability to work effectively with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to student-centered care and development

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans focusing on improving students' fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills
  • Implement direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to comprehensive student support strategies

Location: Lake City, Florida

Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
