Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Kansas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and relevant documentation requirements
• Compassionate communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse classroom and student needs
• Ability to create engaging, evidence-based interventions and programs

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students to identify occupational therapy needs in academic, functional, and social settings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies to support student participation and success
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to deliver holistic services and seamless support
• Maintain clear records, progress notes, and IEP documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
• Offer consultative and direct services to support student development in fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
• Participate in team meetings and contribute expert input to student support plans
