Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Occupational Therapist license in Kansas (or eligibility for Kansas licensure)
• Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting
• Strong assessment and intervention planning skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities relevant to the educational environment
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student participation and success in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings, document services, and track progress toward goals
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or modifications as needed
• Offer training and resources for school staff to support students therapeutic needs
