Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Kansas Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience as an OT in schools, home health, or healthcare settings preferred
- Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and IEP processes is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassion for working with children and families from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted occupational therapy services to K-12 students onsite
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and keep thorough records in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Offer consultative support and education to staff and parents as needed
