This onsite position spans the academic year from August 2026 through May 2027 and will focus on supporting student development across five elementary schools near Olathe, KS. Collaborate with dedicated educators and staff to implement evidence-based therapy practices, making a meaningful difference in young learners lives.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to work across multiple locations and coordinate with diverse teams
- Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized treatment goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEPs and district guidelines
- Assess students needs through standardized evaluations and create tailored intervention plans
- Work alongside teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate students participation and academic success
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation of services and student progress
- Participate in student support and IEP meetings, contributing valuable OT insights
