Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active OT license in the state of Michigan (OT MI)
  • Clinical experience in school settings preferred; experience with K12 age groups highly valued
  • Background in OT for home health or broader healthcare settings is a plus
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and student advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess K12 students to identify occupational therapy needs and develop individualized intervention plans
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in accordance with IEP/504 Plan goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support meaningful student progress
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with school district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and staff consultations as a knowledgeable resource
