Job Description

Located near Odessa, DE, this full-time assignment spans 37.5 hours per week, starting August 25, 2026, and continuing through November 13, 2026. You'll work closely with students, teachers, and families to maximize learning potential and support individualized needs across a dynamic educational setting.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Delaware license as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred
  • Strong collaborative spirit and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Passion for helping students achieve their goals and succeed in the school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services for students with diverse needs
  • Assess, plan, and document individualized therapy goals aligned with educational objectives
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsincluding teachers, parents, and administrationto support student success
  • Maintain detailed and compliant records of services, progress, and outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of student programs and adapt strategies as needed
  • Educate staff and families about best practices in supporting students motor and adaptive skills
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes independence
