Qualifications and Experience sought:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California (required)
- Prior experience working within school systems, including IEP documentation and collaboration with education teams
- Background in home health OT services, focusing on functional, client-centered interventions
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and technology for providing remote care
- Strong communication skills to engage with diverse students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt to varied delivery models (in-person and virtual)
Key responsibilities of the position:
- Deliver OT services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment goals for school-aged children
- Facilitate interventions in-person, via teletherapy, and in home-based settings as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Consult and collaborate with educators, family members, and allied health staff
- Support children in developing the skills necessary for educational and daily living success
