Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapy licensure in California.
  • Professional experience in at least one of the following areas: K-12 schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and the ability to contribute to team-based student support plans.
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and progress monitoring skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

In this contract role, you will:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized OT interventions for students with diverse needs.
  • Deliver services in a variety of settingsincluding school-based, home health, and through telehealth platforms.
  • Consult and coordinate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student progress and generalization of skills.
  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings, progress reports, and evaluations.
  • Adapt activities, modify environments, and recommend adaptive equipment to optimize student participation.
  • Provide training and resources to educators and families to ensure continuity of care.
