Qualifications & Experience Preferred:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong knowledge of fine and gross motor skill development
- Experience working with children in Pre-K, elementary (Grades K-5), or middle school levels
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies and IEP participation
- Effective communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct assessments to determine students motor, sensory, and daily functional needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students from early childhood through middle school
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students goals
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies to promote student achievement
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Educate staff and families on techniques that support motor development in classroom and home environments
