Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school district located in Oakland, CA. This part-time contract position requires working two days per week at a single school site, offering tailored support to students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to enhance students functional abilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success and inclusion
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license with experience in school-based settings
  • Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and educational accommodation strategies
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with school staff and families
  • Ability to manage caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Familiarity with K-12 student developmental stages and educational environment

Location:

  • Oakland, California, serving one school site within the district

Schedule:

  • Part-time, two days per week during the school year (contract role)
