Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from early childhood through 5th grade in a dynamic, collaborative educational environment near Oak Park, IL. We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to cover a leave of absence from August through November, working 32.5 hours each week.

Youll play a vital role in fostering the independence and growth of young learners, collaborating with teachers and parents, and delivering life-changing OT services in a supportive school setting.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students functional abilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students from early childhood through 5th grade
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor, document, and report student progress in accordance with school and compliance standards
• Contribute to IEP meetings as required
