Step into an essential role as an Occupational Therapist supporting students in a dynamic school setting near Novato, CA! This full-time, onsite contract position focuses on furthering the growth and independence of students through targeted occupational therapy services, tailored to meet diverse needs. Youll collaborate closely with teams to address IEPs, evaluations, and both direct and indirect OT support, making a real difference every day.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license
- Experience with school-based OT, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy services
- Proficient in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Skilled in both conducting evaluations and delivering ongoing therapy interventions
- Holds an IL SSW License
- Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services within an educational setting
- Conduct assessments and write detailed evaluation reports
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address students functional needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff to ensure all students receive integrated care
- Balance a caseload that includes direct and indirect services as determined by student IEPs
