Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time contract position in a supportive educational setting near Norwich, CT. This role runs from now through June 2027, providing consistent service during the school year. Working 22.5 hours per week across Monday to Friday, youll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students within specialized Autism programs.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current OT or COTA license in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy, particularly with children on the Autism spectrum
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Skilled at adapting interventions for diverse student needs and learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services within elementary Autism program classrooms, serving about 50 students across three buildings
• Implement IEP-driven strategies and document progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to promote student growth
• Travel between classrooms and school buildings as needed to support consistency of care
• Stay current on best practices and contribute to a positive, student-focused culture
