Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current OT license or eligibility for licensure in Connecticut
• Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse student needs
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Your Impactful Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide consultative support to educational staff regarding classroom strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment
• Encourage self-advocacy and skill-building to maximize student participation in academic and daily routines
