Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing occupational therapy services on a part-time basis in a supportive educational environment near North Ridgeville, OH. Youll have the opportunity to work with kindergarten through 8th grade students, collaborating with school staff and families to help children achieve their fullest potential.

Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio Occupational Therapist license
  • Current Ohio School OT certification
  • Previous school-based OT experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to a variety of student needs and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-8 students
  • Assess and document students functional abilities and progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Participate in student evaluation, eligibility, and IEP meetings as needed
  • Educate staff and families on therapeutic interventions to support student success in the classroom and beyond
  • Maintain timely records and adhere to all federal, state, and district regulations

Position Details:

  • Part-time contract, working 12 hours per week across 23 days
  • Caseload concentrated within the K-8 age group
  • Collaborate with supportive educational staff in a welcoming school setting
