Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid South Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP process, goal setting, and progress monitoring
  • Strong skills in communication, organization, and teamwork
  • Ability to adapt interventions for individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities in the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment plans
  • Provide both direct and consultative OT services in accordance with IEPs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Educate school staff on strategies to support student success in and out of the classroom
