Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state or eligibility to obtain one
• Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with pediatric populations is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and family members
• Dedication to fostering independence and supporting students unique needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services tailored to individual student IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Evaluate students abilities and develop personalized treatment plans addressing fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and more
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to implement therapy goals in the classroom
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide insights and hands-on strategies for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
• Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and district or state guidelines
