Occupational Therapist Travel Opportunity in Newark, NJ

We are currently seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide essential therapeutic services in a school setting located in Newark, New Jersey. This travel position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' development and educational success while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for students.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students functional participation in school activities.
  • Provide interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and adaptive behaviors necessary for academic success.
  • Document progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and revisions.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal educational and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pediatric OT interventions related to educational goals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet diverse student needs.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced school environment.
