Embark on a rewarding contract role as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 20262027 academic year. Work on site in a dynamic school-based environment, providing essential therapeutic support to students in the Wilmington area. You will help empower children to achieve greater independence and success throughout the school year.
What were looking for:
- Current, active Delaware OT license (required at submission)
- Previous experience as a school-based OT
- Strong background working with pediatric/elementary caseloads
- Ability to work full-time onsite (37.5 hours a week)
- Reliable transportation for regular attendance
- Open availability from 8/24/26 to 6/14/27
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services in assigned schools to support students educational performance
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to drive student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to program planning
- Adapt services and interventions for a diverse pediatric population
