Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Current Occupational Therapist license valid in New York State
• Masters degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Previous experience working with children or within school-based settings highly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to both individual and group therapy sessions
• Compassion and commitment to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and needs

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for students
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom
• Delivering targeted interventions to improve fine motor, sensory processing, and other skills essential for academic success
• Maintaining thorough documentation of progress, services provided, and IEP requirements
• Participating in student support meetings and communicating recommendations to multidisciplinary teams
• Educating staff and caregivers on ways to reinforce therapy goals outside of scheduled sessions
