An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services in a dynamic school setting located in New Haven, CT. This travel position allows you to engage with diverse student populations, delivering tailored therapeutic interventions that support students developmental and educational goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing students needs and developing individualized treatment plans
- Implementing therapeutic activities to improve students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to individualized education programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in school-based settings with pediatric populations
- Ability to travel to and work in the New Haven area with flexibility for assignment duration
