Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapy license for the state of Connecticut (or willingness to obtain before start)
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to collaborating with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students educational needs and Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
  • Conduct assessments to determine the necessity for OT interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom participation and accessibility
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records compliant with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Provide training and consultation to educational teams and families as needed
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings and support holistic student development
