This onsite role offers the chance to work closely with a dynamic educational team, supporting the developmental and academic needs of children and adolescents. With a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you will play an integral part in fostering student success and independence in a vibrant school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Active/valid Delaware Occupational Therapy license required at time of application
- Prior experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school-based environment
- Proficiency working with pediatric or elementary caseloads
- Ability to work onsite throughout the school year (August 24, 2026, to June 14, 2027)
- Reliable transportation for daily commute
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized assessments and develop goals tailored to students needs
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions within the educational setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, aides, and parents, to support student IEPs
- Maintain clear documentation and communication regarding therapy progress
- Adapt interventions flexibly to meet the evolving needs of students in a school-based environment
