Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Connecticut
  • Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy practices and intervention strategies tailored for school-aged children

  • Ability to manage a district-wide caseload across multiple sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for students across various schools
  • Implement interventions in accordance with students IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor progress, document services, and modify interventions as needed to support student success
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to recommend environmental adaptations and classroom strategies
  • Travel between assigned schools to ensure consistent, on-site support
