This contract position offers the unique opportunity to work onsite one day per week (7.5 hours), providing impactful services for a manageable caseload of elementary and middle school students. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 2027, allowing you long-term consistency while maintaining optimal work-life balance.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Florida OT license (required)
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy settings
• Knowledge of home health and broader healthcare OT practices a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans
• Commitment to fostering the growth and independence of K-8 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite occupational therapy services in accordance with each students IEP or 504 plan
• Evaluate and document students progress, adapting goals as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and daily activities
• Provide consultation and resources to families for carryover of skills at home
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation and timely reporting
