Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Illinois
• Previous experience working with children or in school settings preferred
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, and families
• Solid communication skills and a passion for innovative, student-centered care
• Knowledge of current therapy best practices, assessment tools, and individualized education plan (IEP) processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and observations to determine students needs within the school environment
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized occupational therapy treatment plans for students
• Participate in the IEP process by collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents
• Support classroom accommodations and modifications to facilitate student participation and success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress in accordance with district policies
