Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois is required
  • Previous experience in school-based OT settings or pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver therapy services to students from kindergarten through middle school
  • Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom environments and support inclusive learning
  • Provide education and resources to families and faculty regarding students needs and progress
  • Maintain accurate, compliant records in accordance with district and regulatory expectations
