Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract position working with students across elementary, middle, and high school settings as an Occupational Therapist. Key Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in evaluating and implementing individualized intervention plans for students

  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability to work across various educational levels (elementary, middle, and high school)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as directed by Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments to identify students needs and establish appropriate therapy goals
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each students educational and developmental requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school guidelines
  • Consult with teachers and school staff to adapt learning environments and promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to reinforce skills at home
